The Bimini Islands, the westernmost point of the Bahamas, are a tiny chain of islands steeped in history, legend, and natural wonder. Bimini has long been celebrated as the “Gateway to the Bahamas,” blending fishing traditions, maritime lore, and a laid-back island culture.

Bimini’s waters are world-renowned for big game fishing, with marlin, tuna, and sailfish drawing anglers from across the globe. Beyond fishing, the islands are a dream for divers and snorkelers, encounters include the mysterious Bimini Road, as well as vibrant coral reefs, shipwrecks, and encounters with dolphins and hammerhead sharks. The Sapona Shipwreck, half-submerged just offshore, is a favorite site for exploration.

Despite its proximity to Florida, just 50 miles away, Bimini retains a rustic charm, with small towns, local conch shacks, and stretches of uncrowded beaches. It is a place where history, myth, and natural beauty intersect, offering visitors a mix of discovery and relaxation unlike anywhere else in the Bahamas.
